 Anasina GRAY-BARBERIO (Northern Metropolitan) (15:00): (2626) My question is for the Minister for Education. Minister, the school community of Pascoe Vale North Primary School in Northern Metro have raised concerns with me and our Pascoe Vale candidate, Angelica Panopoulos, about the school’s longstanding infrastructure gaps. Pascoe Vale North is a growing school of around 340 students, with temporary toilet facilities that have been in place for more than 20 years and continue to experience maintenance, plumbing and accessibility issues. Its ageing basketball court has significant drainage problems and is regularly unusable after rain, while the school lacks a covered outdoor learning area, meaning assemblies, performances and community events are often exposed to extreme weather. Students have also raised concerns about ageing portable classrooms and an outdated multipurpose room. The school community has repeatedly sought funding and is fundraising where it can. Minister, will your government commit funding to address these longstanding infrastructure needs at Pascoe Vale North Primary School?
