Brunswick Zebras Football Club
Anthony CIANFLONE (Pascoe Vale) (13:16): On 23 August I had the pleasure of accompanying the Minister for Community Sport to officially open the new female-friendly change rooms at the Brunswick Zebras soccer club at Sumner Park. This $1.1 million project was made possible by a $760,000 Merri-bek council investment, $250,000 from the Victorian Labor government and a mighty $100,000 from the Brunswick Zebras, the club itself. The facilities are absolutely exceptional, and they will help cater for the increased demand for women and girls off the back of the Matildas’ success. As a former player of the club, I commend the project.
