Commonwealth Games

Sam GROTH (Nepean) (12:20): I desire to move, by leave:

That this house:

(1) acknowledges the new Premier of Victoria; and

(2) notes that the Premier was responsible for the humiliating Commonwealth Games cancellation, including:

(a) a $4 billion cost blowout;

(b) $600 million in cancellation costs; and

(c) the shattering of Victoria’s international reputation, which will take years to repair.
