Nick McGOWAN (North-Eastern Metropolitan) (10:15): Unfortunately for the people of Thailand, that incident was followed some months after, on 7 August, by a massacre at a school. A young 14-year-old, very sadly, in Debsirin Nonthaburi School took a gun into that school. We hear about this very often in America, but not as much, thankfully, in Thailand or countries close to us. Unfortunately, three teachers perished as well as two school staff and two grandparents, and after the event a 12-year-old girl also lost her life. So to those constituents of mine of Thai heritage, but to any Thai person, our condolences on those losses. They are simply tragic in both incidents.
