Aiv PUGLIELLI (North-Eastern Metropolitan) (09:57): I would like to thank the people of North-Eastern Metropolitan Region for putting me into this position for the last few years. It has felt like it has been 10 years; at times it has felt like it has been the blink of an eye. I want to thank all Parliament staff and committee staff right across this place, who literally keep democracy functioning here in Victoria. I would like to thank the President for keeping us all in line. It must have been a tough job, but we got there. It is up to the people whether I get to continue in this work beyond November. Just in case that does not happen, I want to thank my hardworking staff: Mary Musthofa, Amos Gibson and Jean Hinchliffe, who have been with me since basically the beginning; also AJ Harris-Peixoto, Natasha Muhriz, Fan Ouyang, Sophia Sun, Dada Li, Amy Jenkin, Natalie Feliks, Ruiqi Fu, James Temple and Colin Lees, as well as all the interns and volunteers who have helped us over the last few years. I would like to thank my colleagues from the Greens, particularly those in this chamber: Dr Sarah Mansfield, Anasina Gray-Barberio, Katherine Copsey and our former colleague Samantha Ratnam, future Greens MP for Wills. As to whether I am still here after November, that is up to the people; it is democracy, and the voters are never wrong. It has been a privilege.
