 The DEPUTY PRESIDENT (16:45): I have a message from the Assembly in respect of the Corrections Amendment Bill 2026:

The Legislative Assembly informs the Legislative Council that, in relation to ‘A Bill for an Act to amend the Corrections Act 1986 to provide that a prisoner’s right to be in the open air is subject to operational considerations, to provide for a review of the operation of certain amendments to that Act and to further provide for persons detained in police gaols and to validate certain actions taken without delegations in place between 29 April 2024 and 18 May 2026 and for other purposes’ the amendments made by the Council have been agreed to.
