 Anasina GRAY-BARBERIO (Northern Metropolitan) (14:30): He is as charming as he is intelligent. He is the voice of reason as much as he is a determined fighter for justice – the kind of determination that comes from caring so much for people. He is not a man of many words but definitely a man of integrity and action. His achievements in Parliament may not have the public accolades he deserves, but his handprints are all over them. Integrity in politics matters to him. Democracy without big money matters to him. Representation of communities matters to him. The protection and independence of VicHealth matter to him. High-quality public education and funding for our public school teachers matter to him. Public housing and ensuring people have safe and secure housing matter to him. Health care that is accessible and high quality matters to him. These are the public goods he believes every Victorian deserves. He is a family man. He is our friend. He is Dr Tim Read, member for Brunswick. Thank you for setting the bar on what it means to be a public servant and a strong representative for Brunswick.
