(1)   standing and sessional orders be suspended to the extent necessary to allow general business to include three petitions that have qualified for debate under standing order 11.03(10);

(2)   the following general business take precedence:

(a) order of the day made this day, second reading of the Domestic Gas Choice (Repeal of Gas Appliance Ban) Bill 2026;

(b) order of the day made this day, second reading of the Local Government Amendment (Stability of Councils) Bill 2026;

(c) order of the day 4, second reading of the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission Amendment (Functions) Bill 2026;

(d) notice of motion given this day by Sarah Mansfield on the ministerial code of conduct;

(e) notice of motion given this day by David Davis disallowing statutory rules 111 and 112 made under the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990;

(f) petition qualifying for debate 3 standing in the name of Wendy Lovell titled ‘Mernda police station’;

(g) petition qualifying for debate 4 standing in the name of Nick McGowan titled ‘Prostate cancer and men’s health awareness’; and

(h) petition qualifying for debate 7 standing in the name of Renee Heath titled ‘Financial assistance for roadworks in Pakenham’.
