 David DAVIS (Southern Metropolitan) (13:09): I introduce a bill for an act to revoke an amendment to the Victoria Planning Provisions that prohibits new gas connections for new buildings, apartments and residential subdivisions and to subsequently amend the Building Act 1993 to repeal regulation-making powers for prohibiting the connection of reticulated gas, extending the capacity of an existing reticulated gas connection and the installation or replacement of reticulated gas appliances and for other purposes, and I move:

That the bill be now read a first time.
