Bronwyn HALFPENNY (Thomastown) (14:40): (315) My constituency question is for the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure. Residents are very pleased that the long-awaited extension of Edgars Road between Rockfield Street and O’Herns Road in Epping is now open. However, kangaroos are now straying onto the new road, and this is a danger to drivers, pedestrians and the kangaroos themselves. It has become evident that kangaroos need to be humanely managed, and proactively, to prevent them straying onto the new road. Will the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure ensure that Development Victoria urgently work with the City of Whittlesea to come up with a solution to protect people and the kangaroos?
