Voice to Parliament
Josh BULL (Sunbury) (10:02): It was also terrific to join federal Senator Jana Stewart and federal member for Hawke Sam Rae at the recent Voice forum held at the Sunbury global learning centre, a terrific Q and A session, one that I was very proud to be a part of – a terrific turnout of our local community, with some really important discussion around Voice. Obviously the Prime Minister yesterday made an announcement in relation to the very important date for the referendum. We know of course we get better results for Aboriginal communities when Aboriginal people have a direct say on decisions affecting them, and that is why this government, the Andrews Labor government, supports the very important yes vote.
