Paul HAMER (Box Hill) (10:04): I was delighted to represent the Premier and my colleague the member for Bayswater at the Chinese Association of Victoria’s gala ball on the evening of 26 August. For over 40 years the Chinese Association of Victoria has provided a focal point for the community through its many sporting and cultural activities and sought to promote Chinese language and heritage. I would like to thank president Boon Chuan Tay, vice-president and gala convenor Christina Chia, secretary Dominic Au-Yeung and all the committee and volunteers for their hard work and dedication over many years. Congratulations on a successful event.
