Rowville electorate sporting clubs
Kim WELLS (Rowville) (09:55): I rise to congratulate the sporting groups within my electorate, who have all played incredible seasons. While helping Scoresby footy club on their grand final barbecue, I was fortunate enough to witness the under-14s team from the Lysterfield junior footy club win their final by a nailbiting one point. Congratulations to their coach Matt, the players and all the no doubt very proud parents. I was also very fortunate to attend the junior Wolves presentation night this past weekend, where, after sharing a barbecue with the under-16s coach Mick, I also presented Daniel with his best and fairest award. While on the topic of sporting groups in my electorate, I would like to wish the mighty Rowville seniors all the luck with their semifinals this weekend against Vermont. I would also like to congratulate the Scoresby footy club seniors on making it to the finals. While they may not have made it to the grand final, they left everything out on the field in the preliminaries. Congratulations to all the other sporting clubs in my electorate.
