Ms Sarah Connolly
Meet Sarah
Before entering Parliament, Sarah worked across the energy sector for over a decade and held roles specialising in energy policy, regulation, risk and compliance, and customer engagement. Prior to this and early on in her career, Sarah worked in the criminal justice system as a Judge’s Associate, legal clerk and then later at the Department of Justice working on legislative reform.
Sarah is passionate about making a real difference for the people and families in her community that might not otherwise have a voice. This is what prompted her to run for Parliament.
The priorities Sarah has for her community are to deliver the schools, jobs, roads and public transport infrastructure her growing community needs now and into the future.
Sarah’s vision for Victoria’s future is one in which all Victorians have access to the very best opportunities regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion or postcode.
The areas of public policy that is Sarah is most focussed on is planning and transport policy - specifically planning in Victoria’s growth corridors and the essential role transport infrastructure has on the liveability and sustainability of families living in growth corridors, particularly the Western Suburbs.
