Mental health and wellbeing locals are playing an important role in providing free and accessible support for Victorians experiencing mental health and wellbeing challenges, which is particularly important for communities in regional Victoria. These services are helping people access care and support closer to home for free, without the need for a GP referral or Medicare card. That is why my community was thrilled last year when the minister announced that a mental health and wellbeing local would be coming to the Macedon Ranges. Whilst telehealth services are already available, my question is: when will the mental health and wellbeing local open in the Macedon Ranges?
