Richmond electorate public transport accessibility
Gabrielle DE VIETRI (Richmond) (10:04): Mark is disabled. He lives in Fitzroy and he is one of many of my constituents who cannot use public transport because Smith Street and Gertrude Street trams are simply not wheelchair accessible. Despite Labor committing to upgrades in 2022, four years and two consultation rounds later, nothing has happened. Now, in the lead-up to the next election, Labor has just promised the same thing in Northcote and Brunswick without having actually delivered on their election promise from four years ago. How can we trust Labor if they keep making and breaking their promises?
