Ms Kim O'Keeffe
Meet Kim
Prior to entering Parliament, Kim was Mayor of Greater Shepparton and a small business owner.
After six years in Local Government, Kim wanted to continue to work hard for her electorate. Kim is passionate and committed to fight for the needs of the region. This is what prompted her to run for Parliament.
The main passions and priorities Kim has as a member of Parliament are to support the people of her electorate and ensure the region gets its fair share of investment and support. Kim’s immediate priorities are supporting the community through flood and storm damage recovery, addressing the cost of living, homelessness, housing affordability and availability. Other priorities include the Shepparton Bypass, securing funding for the final stage of GV Health redevelopment and clinical health school, mental health, addressing the job shortages and fixing the unsafe roads. Kim is passionate about the future of the redundant secondary school sites, education, investment in aging and run-down sports precincts and supporting local businesses and industries.
