Questions without notice and ministers statements

Written responses

Georgie Crozier, Ingrid Stitt

Written responses

The PRESIDENT (12:38): Thank you, Minister Blandthorn: you will get answers to questions in line with the standing orders for Mrs Deeming for education and Mr Bourman for agriculture.

Georgie Crozier: On a point of order, President – I have got a couple of points of order – I would contest that the minister did not answer the substantive question, the first question I asked, and I would ask you to review that and reinstate it. On the reinstatements that you directed the minister to do on Tuesday and again yesterday, I have had no responses, so I am wondering where they are.

The PRESIDENT: I did say that, because of the lateness of the day, I would give an extra day under the standing orders. I am not too sure where they are, but the minister can respond.

Ingrid Stitt: On the point of order, yes, President, you did give some extra time, but one was lodged late this morning, at about 10 minutes to 12, which was the one that was due today before question time. It was lodged with the table office.

The PRESIDENT: Thank you for that response, Minister. Ms Crozier, I will review that answer, as requested.
