 Georgie CROZIER (Southern Metropolitan) (09:47): Triple Zero Victoria was established in 2023. Let us remember what happened and why it was established. It was established after the monumental failures of ESTA throughout the pandemic, when 33 Victorians lost their lives; they could not get an ambulance on time. Triple Zero Victoria provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies, including ambulance.

Emergency call-taking and dispatch is at the heart of what Triple Zero Victoria does.

So says the Victorian government website. I have been asking to go out to visit Triple Zero. I have asked the former minister Vicki Ward four times, and all she says is that I can have a briefing. I have written to the new minister. We have a conga line of ministers that churn through their responsibilities, yet they are all useless. He has not even come back to me – has not even responded. I am the Shadow Minister for Ambulance Services. Triple Zero is a critical part of what ambulance services do, yet I cannot go out and visit Triple Zero. This is a government shrouded with secrecy. We have seen that through the Auditor-General’s report yesterday with the secret tax. They are blocking representatives who are doing their job in their shadow ministerial responsibilities from visiting these agencies. This is a disgrace. Premier Carroll says he is full of integrity – it is bollocks. His government, like the Allan government and like the Andrews government, are all part of a cover-up and are a corrupt government.

The PRESIDENT: I will think about it, because ‘bollocks’ can mean certain things in certain regions of the world.
