That:

A joint standing committee be appointed to inquire into, consider and report to the Parliament on any proposal, matter or thing concerned with:

road trauma

safety on roads and related matters;

Such committee consist of four members from the Legislative Assembly nominated by the Leader of the House and the Manager of Opposition Business and three members from the Legislative Council nominated by the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council and the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council;

The members be appointed by lodgement of their names with the Speaker and President no later than 28 February 2023; and

A message be sent to the Legislative Council requesting their agreement.
