Highlights from the 2019-20 Budget estimates hearings

This year’s Budget estimates hearings began with the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee questioning the Treasurer and Premier about the $70 billion to be spent by the Victorian Government on services and infrastructure in 2019-20. Here’s a snapshot from the first day of the hearings. 

 

Energy, recycling and climate change were among the issues considered on day 3 of the hearings when the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee questioned Minister Lily D'Ambrosio.

State Budget Briefing Seminar

On Wednesday 29 May 2019 the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee in conjunction with the Department of Treasury and Finance hosted their annual State Budget Briefing Seminar. It included an introduction from the Hon. Philip Dalidakis, PAEC Chair, and was presented by David Martine, Secretary; Amy Auster, Deputy Secretary, Economic Division; Jamie Driscoll, Deputy Secretary, Budget and Finance and Jason Loos, Deputy Secretary, Commercial Division from the Department of Treasury and Finance.
