 Rikkie-Lee TYRRELL (Northern Victoria) (14:33): Last week I had the pleasure of being invited to visit one of the oldest cricket clubs in Victoria, the Seymour Cricket Club, which was established in 1854. I was greeted and shown around by Mitch and Braidon and got a good run-down of the club’s history and plans for their future. The club boast a growing membership, currently standing at 150, and they are aiming to establish a women’s team as soon as possible. Being a keen supporter of our community sporting clubs, I was delighted to see such dedication from those involved to ensure this club is maintained and growing for future generations.
