 Bev McARTHUR (Western Victoria) (13:11): (2592) My constituency question for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety is from a constituent who drives on western Victorian roads and seeks clarity about Labor’s pothole policy. After 380 parliamentary contributions without raising potholes once, Labor’s Jacinta Ermacora has finally conceded that she has a gut feeling that something is not quite right with the roads and that they seem to be falling apart more easily. She suggests Snap Send Solve. Victorians have done the snapping and the sending; after 12 years of Labor it is the solving that has gone missing. Her government colleague in this place says some Victorians are quite happy to have roads full of potholes and are not on board with this pothole thing. Minister, which colleague is right: the one who says roads are falling apart or the one who says people like potholes? Which south-west roads will be repaired with the $352 million, and when?
