Point Cook community hospital
Mathew HILAKARI (Point Cook) (19:14): (1246) My adjournment is for the Minister for Health Infrastructure, and the action that I seek is for an update on the site works and construction of the Point Cook community hospital. The Point Cook community hospital is located in the heart of Point Cook and will provide services closer to home for the growing population which I represent. This hospital will provide health services such as day surgery, dialysis, women’s health and family support services. Health investment is a big thing in Melbourne’s west. Not only are we building this community hospital, but we are also in the process of doubling the Werribee emergency department. It is great to see that coming up out of the ground, and cladding is going on right now. Minister, I look forward to your response.
