TAFE Gippsland
Wayne FARNHAM (Narracan) (13:09): I also attended the inaugural TAFE Gippsland awards, which was fantastic and well attended. I and the member for Morwell were very well received there, as we were the only two real tradie politicians down there for the night. It was very well attended. TAFE is so important, especially in our regional areas, to train up our next generation of tradespeople. I would like to acknowledge Charlee Jinnette, vocational student of the year for health, and Michael Franghis – I think I said that right – for vehicle mechanical technology. Both students worked very well, and congratulations to them.
