Youth Parliament
Belinda WILSON (Narre Warren North) (13:03): Deputy Speaker, during the winter break I was able to sit in your chair for a session of the 39th Victorian Youth Parliament. It was wonderful to witness the passion, the insight and the leadership of young Victorians as they debated issues that matter deeply to them and of course their communities. I am very happy to say that there was this very eventful time at Parliament, because it was an opportunity for the young youth of today to use their voices in a powerful training ground for the leaders of tomorrow. It was a really great opportunity for people to work across differences and to increase their knowledge of how Parliament works.
