teniquehell@outlook.com.au started this petition
The petition of certain citizens of the State of Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Council the need for suitable, safe and heritage-sympathetic access between the platforms at Ballarat Railway Station. The current proposed plan for the overpass is expensive, ugly and not sympathetic to the surrounding architecture.
The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Council call on the Government to immediately scrap the proposed plans for upgrading Ballarat Station and develop a solution that provides appropriate mobility access across the station which is sympathetic to the significant architectural heritage landscape in central Ballarat.
