Legislative Assembly Petition: #202523 | closed

info@turngroup.au started this petition

Issue:

We the undersigned residents of Victoria draw to the attention of the House increasing building costs in Victoria that are leading to higher housing and rental prices, thereby worsening the current housing crisis.

Action:

We, the undersigned residents of Victoria therefore request the Legislative Assembly of Victoria call on the Victorian Government to maintain a competitive and well-regulated building insurance market, rather than an unaccountable government-run building insurance monopoly. A government-run insurance monopoly will reduce the total insurance liability builders can hold, slowing down building output and driving up prices.
