To the Road Safety Committee – for inquiry, consideration and report no later than 30 September 2008* on Federal – State Road funding arrangements – and the Committee should:

  1. review current arrangements in Australia;
  2. assess the current arrangements in Australia in respect of economic efficiency and equity;
  3. make recommendations for improving Federal – State Road funding arrangements in Australia.
