New interns welcomed

Interns_thumbnailOur latest intake of parliamentary interns commenced their research projects at Parliament House.

This semester there are 14 students from La Trobe University and Swinburne University of Technology, and they will prepare research reports in consultation with members of parliament.

The Victorian Parliamentary Internship Program is coordinated by the Parliamentary Library and was established in 1990.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews is among a number of prominent Victorians who have completed a parliamentary internship.

Earlier this year students from the University of Melbourne, Monash University and Victoria University participated in the first semester of the program.
