Council: 15th,16th October 2008 - Lakes Entrance

The Legislative Council met in Lakes Entrance on 15 and 16 October 2008 at Bellevue on the Lakes.

The Regional Sitting followed a typical sitting program for the Chamber with Wednesday being largely committed to General Business and Thursday to Government Business. As always Questions Without Notice were taken on both days.

This was the fourth time the Council has sat outside of Melbourne, but the first time the Council had met outside Melbourne for two consecutive days. The regional sitting formed part of Parliament’s ongoing program of community engagement activities aimed at involving more people in the democratic process.
