Remembrance Day
Mr BARTON: I had the great honour on Monday of laying a wreath at the Box Hill RSL service and remembering the sacrifice of the armed services in times of war and of peace. Just 1 minute of silence at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month brings us all together in gratitude and reminds us of the freedoms we hold dear. I extend thanks to the members and committee of the Box Hill RSL for their hospitality. They are currently undergoing or have recently completed renovations at their Nelson Road premises, and I recommend a visit.
