Parliament Express enables young writers to undertake an intensive program of learning and mentoring conducted with Express Media.
Applications for the 2024 program are now open and need to be made by 1 May via the Express Media website.
Participants hear from members of parliament, press gallery journalists and parliamentary staff, finding out about the way parliament and our democracy function in practice.
They select topics on parliament to write about and their articles are published on our website. Articles from the 2022 and 2023 programs can be read below.
