Wendy LOVELL (Northern Victoria) (13:02): (2245) My question is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety. Will the minister commit to funding safety upgrades for the intersection of Kilmore-Lancefield Road, Main Road and High Street in Lancefield in the 2026–27 state budget? There is a junction in Lancefield where Main Road, the C325, the Kilmore-Lancefield Road, the C324, and High Street all meet. There have been at least five reported crashes causing injury at the intersection in recent years, with many more near misses observed by community members but absent from the official statistics. Macedon Ranges Shire Council have requested that the Department of Transport and Planning undertake a safety audit of the intersection, and I support their call and urge the minister to allocate funding in the next state budget for major works to upgrade this intersection.
