 Aiv PUGLIELLI (North-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:41): (1869) My constituency question today is for the Minister for Health. The Mazenod Panthers All Ability Football Club community in my region have been devastated by the death of a young community member who died from sepsis caused by meningococcal B just recently. I send my deep condolences to their family and the broader community. I know that this loss is being felt deeply. In the words of the Mazenod Panthers club president, ‘When one heart is broken, all our hearts are broken, and today our hearts are shattered.’ Their call is clear and one that my Greens colleagues and I strongly support: we need to expand access to the meningococcal B vaccine for infants and young people, including for those living in my region. Minister, will you include this critical vaccine in the Victorian schedule of childhood immunisations?
