Adjournment
Noble Park Community Centre
Eden FOSTER (Mulgrave) (19:06): (1422) My adjournment matter is for the Minister for Carers and Volunteers, and the action I seek is for her to join me in a visit to Noble Park Community Centre. Noble Park Community Centre runs an extraordinary range of programs, from English language classes that help new migrants settle in and thrive to creative programs in art, craft and music and digital literacy, and recreational activities that keep people active and connected. It is also a crucial hub for many community groups who access the facility for regular meetings. The community centre also hands out donated food weekly to locals who are in need of support, along with assisting charities, including Reaching Out Because We Can and Servants of the Two Hearts, who serve a hot lunch every Tuesday to locals who might be in need of a meal or just great company. Recently the Noble Park Community Centre was a recipient of a connecting carers in their community grant 2025 during National Carers Week. I would like to thank them for the amazing work that they do in my community with the hundreds of people they support in so many ways.
