Pakenham community hospital
Emma VULIN (Pakenham) (12:53): Earlier this month I visited the Pakenham community hospital with Minister Horne, and the progress our builders are making is impressive. With major construction works now complete, work on the external facade is underway, and the inside fit-out is taking place. Providing convenient access for patients, visitors and staff, it is within walking distance of the town centre, our new train station and our bus interchange. There will be more than 150 parking spaces and a patient drop-off zone. The Pakenham community hospital will be one of the most accessible health hubs in the region, and it is well on track to be completed next year.
