Justice Legislation Further Amendment (Miscellaneous) Bill 2025
Introduction and first reading
Sonya KILKENNY (Carrum – Attorney-General, Minister for Planning) (12:06): I move:
That I introduce a bill for an act to make miscellaneous amendments to the Fines Reform Act 2014, the Guardianship and Administration Act 2019, the Infringements Act 2006, the Marine Safety Act 2010, the Open Courts Act 2013, the Road Safety Act 1986, the Coroners Act 2008, the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1996, the Crimes Act 1958 in relation to certain offences, the County Court Act 1958 and the Sentencing Act 1991 in relation to the operation of the Drug Court division of the County Court, the Road Safety Act 1986 in relation to procedural matters in the Magistrates’ Court, to make related amendments to certain other acts and for other purposes.
