Blackburn Football Club

Mr HAMER: Friday night footy came to Blackburn on 6 May with the very first home match under lights for the Blackburn Football Club. Morton Park looked an absolute treat with its new pavilion gleaming under the new lights thanks to the investment from the Andrews Labor government and local Whitehorse council. The investment in the lights will mean more utilisation of the ground and boosted participation at this terrific local club. A big thankyou to club president Casey Johnson as well as current and past committee members Paul Moylan and Mike McCoy, for driving this project.
