Sandringham electorate
Brad ROWSWELL (Sandringham) (14:49): (886) My constituency question is to the Premier. Members of my community are hardworking people. They pay their taxes, they earn a wage, they provide for themselves, they provide for their families and they contribute through their volunteer and charitable works back to our community. It is the people of my community that make our community such a great place to live, to work and to thrive. But they have been burdened by the financial mismanagement of this Labor government over the last 10 years. They are being burdened with $19,500 in state government debt on the head of every man, woman and child, as revealed by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Budget Office today. So I ask the Premier: when will the Premier reduce Labor’s debt burden for the hardworking taxpayers in my community?
