 Anthony CARBINES (Ivanhoe – Minister for Police, Minister for Crime Prevention, Minister for Racing) (10:10): I also want to give a shout-out to John Dowdle, who for over 55 years has served the local community of Banyule. He is a former councillor of the City of Heidelberg and mayor, but he has also been involved in Neighbourhood Watch for some 35 years and received the Victoria Senior Achiever Award from the Council on the Ageing at Government House recently. I was pleased to join him to give out the long service awards for the Banyule Neighbourhood Watch community, including to Joan Reid, who has been involved for 40 years at Banyule Neighbourhood Watch. A big shout-out to her, and we thank her for her work.
