Drug harm reduction

Nathan LAMBERT (Preston) (14:36): We have been out doorknocking in Reservoir recently, and I wanted to raise a couple of issues on behalf of local residents. The first is nitrous oxide abuse. You see a lot of those little canisters around playgrounds and parks in Reservoir – nangs, as they are known ‍– and if you go into shops along Edwardes Street that sell tobacco, you can purchase them there. There is a legitimate concern in the community about their effect on people’s health, especially young people, and I thank the relevant ministers for their engagement.
