Government accountability

Georgie CROZIER (Southern Metropolitan) (12:36): (1291) My question is to the Minister for Corrections, and it follows standing order 8.01(1)(a), which allows a question to be put to ministers relating to public affairs for which the minister is directly connected. Is the minister part of the Labor MP group connected to disposing of the Premier Jacinta Allan?

Members interjecting.

The PRESIDENT: Order! I have a bit of a different interpretation of that part of the standing orders to what you may have, Ms Crozier, but thanks for firing up the chamber. It is not a question that I am prepared to put to the minister.

David Davis interjected.

The PRESIDENT: It is not. Mr Davis, can I take you through the rest of my life when I leave here, when I can be told what is entirely reasonable in my life into the future? It is very helpful – maybe. I will move to the next question.
