 Tom McINTOSH (Eastern Victoria) (12:47): My question is for the Minister for Multicultural Affairs: how is the Allan Labor government supporting multicultural communities in Eastern Victoria? I recently had the pleasure of attending the Warragul regional iftar dinner. It was a fantastic night. There were more than 200 people that joined together to share in a meal after a long day of fasting. A huge shout-out to BINAI for organising the event and all the fantastic volunteers that decorated the hall; up on the stage the decorations were fantastic. With the meal that was prepared for everyone, there was more than enough food to go around. A big shout-out to everyone who was involved in that and to the Islamic Council of Victoria for all the work that they did in making an incredible night and bringing people from across Eastern Victoria and even some from Cobram who attended. It is great to see diversity in our regions and to celebrate it.
