 Michael GALEA (South-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:42): (1879) My question is for the Minister for Public and Active Transport. The question relates to the summer start for the new projects that we have coming and in particular the announcement that weekend travel on public transport across Victoria will be free across the summer period. This is a great way to celebrate the opening of the Metro Tunnel and to give Victorians that extra opportunity to check it out for themselves – to ride on the trains on the Pakenham, on the Cranbourne and on the Sunbury lines, interconnect with them and use this terrific new tunnel. I seem to have more time, President. I will make the most of it. Minister, how will this benefit my constituents?
