Ms THOMAS: Meanwhile, Malmsbury Cricket Club groundskeeper Laurie Marshall has always been a local legend, but now he has received nationwide recognition. Laurie has won this year’s Big Bash League Local Legend award after almost 40 years maintaining cricket pitches at both Malmsbury and Kyneton.
