Rose Kelly
Mr HIBBINS (Prahran) (13:37): I rise to pay tribute to Rose Kelly, who was the director of the Windsor Community Children’s Centre before she died tragically last year. Rose was a community builder, a leader in the early childhood sector and a trusted colleague and friend to the educators, families and community members she worked with, including our Indigenous community and Reconciliation Stonnington. Rose’s death is a huge loss to her husband and son and to our wider community. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to honour Rose’s life over the weekend and to know that her legacy will be continued with an award to be offered in her name by Early Childhood Australia.
