Bayside development
James NEWBURY (Brighton) (13:09): We know that the state Labor government has given the big green tick to massive overdevelopment. Jacinta Allan plans to turn Bayside into the Gold Coast. Residents who are concerned about a proposed five-storey development at 531 Hampton Street recently met to voice their opposition. That proposal is just the start. Labor is giving the green light to giant 16-storey towers across Bayside. Shame.
