St Dominic’s Primary School, Camberwell
John PESUTTO (Hawthorn) (09:58): Last week I had the great pleasure of visiting St Dominic’s Primary School in Camberwell in my electorate. I was given a wonderful tour by four impressive student leaders, Millie, Emily, James and Grace, who showed me through the classrooms and introduced me to their school community. We stopped in to see the preps, dropped by an Italian lesson – a reminder to me that I do need to brush up on my Italian skills – and even met the school’s much-loved pet lizards Dom and Nick. I thank principal Natalie Kenny and her team for the very warm welcome, and I look forward to joining the community again at next year’s Italian Festa, one of the great local social events on the Hawthorn calendar.
