Easter egg hunt

Sonya KILKENNY (Carrum – Attorney-General, Minister for Planning) (09:44): This year I held my annual Easter egg hunt. It was the biggest yet – over 1000 children and more than 13,000 eggs. So many volunteers made this possible. Thank you to the volunteers from the Frankston SES, Carrum Downs fire brigade, Carrum Downs Junior Football Club and the many, many volunteers, without whom I could not run this event.

Thank you also to Woolworths Carrum Downs for donating hot cross buns and some of the eggs. Thank you to our local chocolate factory, Chocolate Grove, for helping me supply the giant egg and hamper for the lucky prize winners, and thank you so much to all of the local families for joining in and making this the best community event ever. I cannot wait to do it all again next year.
